Welcome
We are a small independent candle company located in Vancouver, WA.
Scent is our most primitive sense; it is the closest thing to the emotional brain. It penetrates you. You love it and want to be a part of it.
We thrive in making our candles the best smelling candles in the Pacific Northwest. We make our candles with 100% domestically grown soy wax, as well as 100% Palm / Soy wax, absolutely no additives and are perfectly healthy and safe for indoor use.
All of our packaging is Recyclable. Go Green...
Characteristics of a true soy candle will have some frosting...which means the wax may look lighter in some spots (does not always happen), this does not have any effect on the candle scent or burn, it simply means there is no additives, and it truly is soy.
Nothing brings to life again a forgotten memory like fragrance...
From the time production starts to the time your candle is done burning we've had you in mind...

Fly Off The Candle Co. Candle care instructions
WICK
For cotton wicks, trim the wick(s) to 1/4 inch before every burn. For wooden wicks, trim the wick to 1/8 inch before every burn. This will promote a steady flame and minimizes soot and/or the mushrooming of the wick.
CANDLE BURN TIME
Only burn your candle for 4 hours at a time.
All candles have various burn time, there is many factors that come into play, below is the most probable burn times for our candles. These times have been tested.
Mason Jar -
3.5 Oz 23-26 hours (approx)
7 Oz 50-55 hours (approx)
Luxury -
10 0z Luxa - 82 hours (approx)
Dough Bowls - 18-20 hours (approx)
Dessert Candle -
10 Oz Glass - 65-70 hours (approx)
16 Oz Glass - 100 hours (approx)
Always burn candle in sight. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn the candle on or near anything that can catch on fire. Always place candle on a burn plate before lighting as candles do get hot and may cause discoloring of object set upon. Never leave candle unattended.
DISCARDING OF CANDLE
The candle vessel will get hot while burning so do not handle your candle while lit. Always let the wax cool and harden before touching, moving or discarding. Candle should be discarded when it gets down to the last 1/4 inch of wax. Burning the candle beyond this point can damage furniture as well as cause the glass to break.
Do not use water to extinguish the flame. To extinguish the flame you can use a tool, like a wick dipper or a wick snuffer, or you can lightly blow on the wick until it goes out. If you decide to blow on the flame, do so carefully or you risk blowing some of the melted wax, causing a mess or possible injury.
